Core Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day commercial issues on complex extant contracts
• Provide commercial support to acquisition team managers in the development of future complex contracts
• Review or propose Terms and Conditions of contract, including flowdown of prime contract commercial requirements, in order to minimise Ascent’s risk
• Draft Consultancy and Non-Disclosure Agreements
• Coordinate with Finance staff on the processing of invoices
• Prepare contract amendments and liaise with specialist advisers
• Liaise with MoD commercial staff on matters affecting the commercial interests of Ascent
• Support Ascent’s acquisition teams through provision of commercial advice
• Provide support to the acquisition team and commercial leads in source selections
Knowledge and Experience
• Ideally 3 - 5 years commercial experience in the support services industry
• Good knowledge of different types of commercial/contract models, and their use
• Degree, Part or fully qualified in CIPS or equivalent professional qualification
• Good understanding of PFI & MOD contract terms and conditions for Aerospace business and experience of Public Procurement rules desirable.
• Good understanding of export control and ITAR regulations
