Core Responsibilities
• Clarify the Ascent and UKMFTS Brand and roll out appropriate materials to support this
• Develop a UKMFTS website
• Liaise with VT/LM to ensure a proactive approach to press releases, market awareness and external stakeholder management
• Develop the internal communications processes, newsletters, team events, briefings ensuring that Ascent and the Programmes interests are represented accurately
• Develop the UKMFTS Website within 6 months ensuring that this meets budget and has buy in from the Exec Board.
• Embed the Communications strategy ensuring all of the actions are implemented as identified in the Communications Plan
• Clarify Branding style for both Ascent and UKMFTS and roll out appropriate materials that embed this into the business and programme
Knowledge and Experience
· Must have had experience of working in a communications/PR department ideally within the defence sector
· Strong communicator and the ability to influence
· Energy and drive to see activities through to their conclusion
